  1. Good work April..Im going to build the same frame but the top is going to be the same size (or 1/2) as the desk and bottom. Because I have a "Boxed Floro light" And at the bottom where the legs are I'll be adding on 2×4 so I can attach castor swivel wheels (with locks) Thanks for the video. ☺️

  2. Hey, thanks so much. I was considering the same type of design, but about half the width. The idea of not having to go to the ground with the back, forward shelf support was helpful (I don't know why I had mine going to the ground. I also like the way you incorporated the lip in the front for clamping onto. One question, why didn't you attach the peg board to the back of the bench as opposed to the wall? seems like making it stand-alone might be more versatile and stand-alone. Good job (from an engineer)!

  3. Hello April,

I love your project. I would love to see the free plans. can you please let e know where are those. I have looked every where, but I haven't been able to find them.

    thank you!

  4. Hi April – Great build and yes, quite easy. I loved the roll out drawers that you repurposed, great idea. I liked the 3D Experience for Makers that you used and bought a subscription. I just bought a new laptop because my old one couldn’t keep up with all of the graphics design and CAD work I’m doing for our race team. Of course with my luck, after I bought the subscription, I couldn’t download the design software. After a bit of research I learned that 3D Experience for Makers, and their other products doesn’t yet have the updated software that is compatible with the new Windows 11 OS. The website doesn’t give an estimated date of release. It only shows “To be announced”. I sent a message to the customer service folks about the subscription, but have yet to receive anything back from them 😢! I hope they make the software windows 11 compatible soon, I really like the look of the design plans.

  5. I enjoy the design and will probably follow it closely for my new bench build. However, when you say the plans are free in the video, then I find out they were only free for a limited time, it's a bit discouraging. Regardless, I hit the "subscribe button and look forward to more of your videos for practical things to build!

  6. I been thinking about building a teardrop camper trailer. been watching lot of videos on builds. Have you ever thought of building one.

  7. this is so awesome! I'm building out a new workshop and i only have roughout carpentry equipment, this is great for someone who doesn't have a fancy shop tool with planers, jointers, and table saws. I'm so excited, I wish I had seen this tomorrow morning so I could get started!

  8. About 10 years ago I built a workbench very similar to this. I've disassembled it, moved it, and re-assembled it four times now. I like your version better, especially the top shelf. Looks like it's time to upgrade!

  9. Awesome. Can you make a Video on how to add the drawers? I can See fom the picture that you have like 4 drawers in the right side. Thank you!
